Description

Step right up and join us for an unforgettable journey in musical theatre! If you think you’re ready to take your skills to the next level, this class is for you. "This is the greatest show!"
Designed for those with a foundational experience in singing, dancing, and acting, this intermediate course focuses on refining your performance abilities while boosting your stage presence. Led by Brad and Evan, you’ll dive into the world of The Greatest Showman, learning the power of expression through the perfect combination of singing, dancing, and acting.
In this high-energy class, students will:
  • Explore choreography and movement inspired by The Greatest Showman
  • Build confidence, focus, and stage presence through ensemble numbers
  • Work on techniques to enhance creativity and unity in performances
  • Develop the skills needed to excel in musical theatre and showcase their talents
Over the course of 10 weeks, you’ll receive personalized instruction to help you expand your range and elevate your craft. The class will culminate in a spectacular showcase, where you'll perform the pieces you've perfected.

Prerequisite: ALL CORE CLASSES (DRAMA, VOICE, DANCE)

Evan Schultz

My name is Evan Schultz and I did CYT for serveral years until 2017. Since then I have received an AA degree in performing arts, performed in dinner theaters, and taught kids all over the U.S. and Japan. I also have come back and directed/choreographed some shows for CYT Spokane. I always love coming back to my CYT family and am excited to teach some classes again.

Brad Letson

Brad has been a professional actor for over 30 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association. Before his recent move to the west coast, Brad lived in both the Washington, DC area and in New York City where he attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. His Off-Broadway and NYC acting credits include: My Big Gay Italian Wedding, Bob in Beyond Therapy, Peachy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and numerous readings and workshops. Brad has been a company member with Shear Madness at The Kennedy Center in DC for 18 years where he has appeared in over 1,500 performances of that exciting show! TV credits include voice-overs for The Science Channel, Discovery Channel, Discovery Life and Animal Planet. Brad is also an audiobook narrator with many titles available on Amazon, iTunes and Audible. Brad is excited for this new adventure with CYT and is looking forward to a fun season!
