Description

Most playwrights have their own flavor on the stage, but perhaps none as distinctive as the Bard himself, Shakespeare. Join us in this class as we learn about what makes Shakespearean theater different and try our hand at it. 

Learn techniques to tackle one of the most influential playwright’s styles: Shakespeare. This course is designed for the serious actor who is willing to put in the work to gain a strong knowledge of this exciting genre. Scene work may include: Romeo and Juliet, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Measure for Measure etc.

Lexi Gibson

Lexi is a recent graduate from the Theatre program at Eastern Washington University and a CYT Alum from the class of 2020. She was involved in over 30 productions during her time at CYT and has developed a deep love for acting and directing in her time on the stage. Lexi is thrilled to be back at CYT as a teacher and is so excited to give all the love of theatre she has back to where she got it in the first place.
